Mina Lawton

Mina Lawton started her artistic career as a professional dancer in New York City. During her time in New York she pursued any avenue of physical expression she encountered or could devise; dance, choreography, dance film, performance art, improvisation, acting, and the constant study of movement and dance techniques.

Through the many twists and turns that life can take, her expression has shifted from performance art to visual art. As an art model for over a decade, she accrued an unexpected (and much appreciated) education and is applying it to her practice and pursuit of painting.

She currently lives in New Hampshire on a small lake with her husband, son, and cat.
